MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS:
  Samuel York - s/o Samuel 2 York; liv Ipswich; about 54 in 1731 when he depos
ab Falmouth bef 1690; 81 in 1759 when he test ab the attack on the Bracketts in
1689; taken prisoner at the fall of Casco Fort in 1690 he rem to Canada until
Jul 1700, having for 2 yrs cut masts for the French Navy (list 9, pp74 & 208);
he m1 21 Feb 1705/6 Mary Dutch who d 16 Apr 1709; m2 int 27 Oct 1711 Mary
Potter; d June 1767; his fa had entered an East Cl for the Topsham land in
1715, and he obtained a gr of 300a in 1721 in satisfaction thereof; he had brot
ejectment suit ag new settlers in 1720; 1+10 ch [Geneal Dict of MEW & NH].
