B Cilley; m1 Lydia Buzzell; m2 10 Jan 1795 wid Rachel Piper; m3 7 Dec 1809 wid
Hannah Clapham; signed Assoc Test [in Northwood?]. Children by wife Lydia:
a) Samuel - m Betsey Piper; moved from Northwood NH to Portsmouth NH 1809,
to Madbury 1814, and to Lee in Apr 1816; d 3 May 1819 leaving 4 sons & 1 dau;
his wid m2 Abraham Batchelder 1829 & d 4 Dec 1864. Children: Col Gorham W - b 5
Mar 1804, m 4 Jul 1824 Abbie P Lock, d 5 Sep 1868, in 1835 & 1836 he was a memb
of legislature, had nine children including Ira G who grad from Dartmouth &
taught in CA, another son d while attending Exeter Academy, another son was a
machinist in Lowell, another son was in business in Boston, also three daus who
married & two who didn't marry, one of those had charge of the Academy in Derry
for severl terms; Gen Alfred - b Northwod, m Susan Demeritt of Northwood, liv
in Lee & later in Durham, had 13 children (six sons & seven daus), memb of both
branches of the legislature while living in Lee, represented Durham in 1874;
Joseph R W - m Mary E Wyman, ran the American House in Brunswick & later liv in
Portland, had one son who was a sea-captain; William K A - b 7 Nov 1815, m 30
Mar 1843 Sarah C Swain of Northwood, liv Dover, had one son Charles W who grad

Newington NH); elected town clerk in Northwood in Mar 1826 & served till 1831;
apptd deputy-sheriff of Rockingham, Strafford & Merrimack counties on 1 Nov
1827 & served till about 1834; apptd clerk of the Superior Court in Exeter &
removed to Exeter NH where he was a trial judge about 25 yrs; also was sheriff
& asst Register of Probate; retired to his farm in Northwood NH. Children:

attended the Young Ladies Seminary in Exeter, then m Sep 1849 Henry C Moses of
Exeter a successful businessman, had son Herbert who attended PEA & grad

who grad Robinson Female Seminary in Exeter & taught there; Mary Elizabeth - b
7 Jan 1832, m Oct 1850 John C Scripture of East Cambridge MA; Emma Frances - b
17 Aug 1840, d 26 May 1871 ae 31 at Exeter, 2 children d young.
