1870 Oct 4 - Isaac Leighton of Effingham,, Carroll Co NH, states that he is
the uncle and next of kin of Lydia A Buzzell, late of Barrington, deceased, who
d intestate, unm & without issue, leaving an estate; he declines admin and
recommends John S Buzzell of Barrington as a suitable person; JSB was so
appointed; Jacob S Neal, Nathaniel Twombly & Joel H Morrison, all of Rochester,
were appointed appraisers; the former two were also sureties on the bond of
JSB; the admin acct shows a total value of the estate to be $1709.72 which
included $472.19 received from the estate of C O Buzzell for which JSB was also
the administrator; the following signed receipts for shares of $123.77 3/4 in
cash and chattels of the estate:
a) Heirs - Isaac Leighton, Phebe Bryant, Sarah Hanson, George E Leighton,
Louisa Lewis & Keziah B Tasker, with witnesses, Ithiel W Bryant, John C Bryant,
