genealogy says wife Deborah had son Jeremiah, but does not say which wife had
the other six children. They are placed tentatively with the first wife, but
some may belong to the second wife.
c) Henry - liv Wakefield NH; m 29 Jul 1797 Betsy Clark of Rochester.
According to the Hist of Carroll Co by Merrill, Henry came to Wakefield before
1800 and settled on the stage road in the Clark and Cook neighborhood, and
raised a large family.
d) Abigail - b 26 Nov 1764; d 24 Aug 1849; m 28 Dec 1786 Thomas Watson of
Sandwich NH.
e) Thomas - b 3 Dec 1776; d 11 May 1856; m Margaret Brackett of Berwick ME.
Thomas and family were residents of Wakefield. He and wife, children Olive,
Thomas, Sally, Lewis, and William are buried on the Wiggin farm granted when
the town was settled.
f) Asa - b c1778; d 11 nov 1863; m1 1 May 1804 Sally Leavitt; m2 1842 Sally
Ricker. Asa was of Brookfield when he married in 1842. This is noted in the
Vital records of Dover NH 1686-1850 when his wife was dismissed from the First
Church 25 Nov 1849. It does not say to where she was dismissed, but it was
most liekly to Wakefield since Asa is buried there.
