Mary, wife/o William Laskey - d 3 Oct 1828 ae 72y.
J.L. These initials on a stone in the alskey lot seem to belong to "John
Laskey who bought the farm near Wednesday Brook in Lee, 15 May 1722, and here
the Laskey family lived for az long time. His will, 1764-65 names his wife and
children."
Son William Laskey above vorn 28 Oct 1745, m 17 Oct 1769 Mary, d/o Nathaniel
& Mary (Runnels) Randall, b 1753 in Lee NH (see Hist Durham NH 2:253-4).
The name John Laski appears on the list of trained soldiers on the south
side of Oyster River, 5 May 1732. That wa ten days before Durham was set off
from Dover as a separate town. The list was of men in the 3rd Co of Col
Gilman's Reg, and was under the command of Capt John Smith (see Hist Durham).
The Association Test in Lee 1776, Winborn Adams' Co, was signed by Icabod
Whidden & William Laskey, Selectmen of Lee NH.
