stump at the brook, then south 35 degrees west 30 rods to a stake standing in
the field to the south westward of the house where the sd Tho York now lives,
then run south 55 degrees east 120 rods to a hemlock tree spotted on four sides
then run north 35 degrees east or thereabout 40 rods to a small birch one of
the bounds of Nath'l Stevens his land & so bounding by sd Stevens his land to
the stake first mentioned being 120 rods the whole containing 29a + 110 rods;

Lee and partly in Durham, Strafford Co NH, and partly in Nottingham, Rockingham
Co NH, being the same lands conveyed to Nathaniel Stevens 3rd & Joseph Stevens
by deed dated 11 Jun 1811 from Nathaniel Stevens of sd Lee, also another tract
of 10a in sd Durham being the same conveyed by Stephen Bordman to David Stevens
and Joseph Stevens by deed dated 8 Nov 1811, also another tract in sd Durham
being the same land which Nathaniel Stevens conveyed to Joseph Stevens by deed

      To the sd Lydia Ann Stevens a certain tract or parcel of land situate in
Lee containing 33a +74 sq rods bounded northwesterly by the Hook road,
northeasterly and southeasterly by land of David Davis and southwesterly by
land of Eliphalet York, being a part of the homestead farm of the sd Nathaniel
Stevens; also another tract of land in sd Durham containing 13a +61 sq rods,
begin at a stake standing 9 rods on a right angle southerly from Samuel Joys
hook pasture by land formerly owned by John Pendergast, then southerly by sd
Pendergast land to land of David Davis, then westerly by sd Davis' land to land
formerly owned by James Smith to a stake standing 9 rods southerly from sd
Joy's pasture, then north 85 deg east on a parallel line with sd Joy's pasture
to the 1st bound, being a half of the Walter Smith pasture; also another tract
in sd Nottingham being the upper lot so called containing 37a, bounded by land

David Stevens, then run by sd David Steven's land north 66 deg west 25.25 rods,

Robert 5 YORK

MISCELANEOUS ITEMS:
  Robert York - s/o Thomas York (John 3, Benjamin 2, Richard 1), was of Durham
and later lived at Lee.  He purchased a farm in Durham from Thomas George on 1
Feb 1762 and sold some of the Lee property to his father 1 Sep of that year.  
No doubt he and his father moved to Nottingham during 1762.  Robert signed a
petition for a bridge at Newmarket in 1780.  The name of his wife is unknown
[unidentified typescript].
