Northwood, a native of Nottingham, ae 69y 11m.
     Obituary: Forest Emery Holmes, ae 69y 11m, d at a convalescent home in
Manchester on Saturday afternoon.  He was a native of Nottingham, the s/o Noah
W and Lucia A (Tuttle) Holmes.  Most of his life had been spent in Northwood,
where he was employed as a shoe worker, and was engaged in farming.  Survivers
include one sister, a son, Noah E Holmes of Northwood, and one duaghter, Doris
Holmes of Manchester, granchildren, Patricia LaFranc of Haverhill, MA, and
Norene and Dorothy Holmes of Northwood.  He was a member of Equity Lodge of Odd
Fellows and North River Council, Jr. O.U.A.M.  Funeral services were held at
the First Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon, with Rev Frank K Neary
officiating [Exeter News-Letter of this date].
