of militia in Dover. Also on the list is a Sam'l Star:But, who is probably the
Samuel Starbird with who Benjamin Gear was later associated in the joint
purchase of some land [no specific date is given, but the document is placed
with papers dated 1748 and 1749, Capt Waldron also had a company of Quakers]

Gear Cemetery, Barrington NH - This private cemetery is located off McDaniel
Shore Road behind Swain's lake. McDaniel Shore Road connects with Rt 4. The
cemetery is located at an entrance to the woods just before you reach the home
of Irene Teaque Realtor. There is a large monument in the center of the lot
that may be 15-20 ft tall. Midway up the monument is the date "1880."

and Lemuel R Buzzell signed a receipt for her $3.33 share in the legacy due the
heirs of Patience Gears's dau Abigail who are stated in the receipt to be Mary
A Bodge, Eunice N Gear, Emily F Gear & Elizabeth J Gear [not Deborah J].

Holy Bible published Philadelphia, 1872. Apparently this Bible was
originally the property of Timothy Whitehouse Tuttle and his wife, Mary S
(Buzzell) Tuttle. It is now (1993) in possession of Mrs. Helen Hope (Buzzell)
