I am seeking the ancestry of Johnathan CLARK, father of Daniel D. CLARK.
Daniel was born 6 Oct 1825 in Strafford and died 4 Feb 1891 in Deerfield.
Daniel and his wife, Sarah Meserve, are buried in an old cemetery on what
my grandmother called the Mount Delight Road. I remember taking her there
about 40 years ago, when I was a teenager, but in those days I wasn't
interested in specifically whose graves she was visiting. Now I know that
it was her grandparents. (I summered at Pleasant Lake for 50 years and
never knew the family had lived there. Isn't it amazing how we think the
younger generations know what we know?)
I am also seeking the ancestry of Jonathan's CLARK's wife, Sophie M.
DANIELS of Barrington.
I would appreciate any information that would help me connect Daniel to his
parents, or that would help me to place him in the correct New Hampshire
CLARK family.
