  Graves on Capt John Layne farm on the Turnpike, North Lee NH, owned 1938 by
Frank I Caldwell.
  First three stones: Edmund & Jane Hussey Layne and their son Edmund; all
field stones on the west side next to them.
  Capt John Layne & his wives (see Hist Durham for his fine record).  He m
Jane or Mary Bruce, or perhaps both of them. He m last wife 1802, Sarah Priest.
Capt Layne has a DAR holder & flag (all field stones).
  Capt Samuel Layne - b 2 Aug 1801, d 30 Jul 1878 (State Militia); Elizabeth H
Layne - b Dec 1802, d 23 May 1888 (Two stones on one base.  She was Elizabeth
Hill).
  D T Layne - Govt marker Co D 3rd NH Inft (David True Layne, s/o Capt Samuel,
b 1 Aug 1844, enlisted in Civil War 13 Aug 1861, died 27 Jun 1864, unm, brought
home & buried).
