1826 Oct 11 - the court allowed an account of Nathaniel Ambrose, admin of
Joseph Buswell late of Ossipee; the account mentions $80.00 "paid widow Sarah
Buswell by order of the judge;" another $1.66 paid Sarah Buswell, and interst
received on notes of E Wentworth, Russel Canney, John Wood, and John Moulton
[Strafford Co NH Probate Records 34/250].
1827 May 16 - a list of claims against the estate of Joseph Buswell late of
Ossipee deceased was approved by Daniel Smith Esq of Ossipee, commissioner;
note that the probate index indicates there is an inventory of the estate
recorded in Vol 33, but that volume is missing [Strafford Co NH Probate Records
36/140].
1827 May 16 - Nathaniel Ambrose presented a second account of his admin of
the estate of Joseph Buswell late of Ossipee deceased; charges were paid to the
following: William C Mitchel, Levi Perkins, Hiram Pray, Samuel Quarles, Ivory
Fry, Joseph Buswell, Ezekiel Leighton, Daniel Smith; James Buswell, and Ebenr
Allen, David Hammond, Joseph V Quarles, John Moulton, Ichabod Hodsdon, Rufus
Bunk, John Brown, William Hammond, William Watson, Sarah Buswell, Joseph
Buswell, Isaac Buswell, Hannah Small, Louys Buswell, and Samuel Dickman;
included were receipts dated 22 Nov 1826 as follows: Sarah (mark) Buswell for
heer share in the estate of "my husband Joseph Buswell," also Joseph Buswell,
Isaac Buswell, Hannah Small, and Louys Buswell, all for their shares in the
