1776 - Samuel Snell signed the Association Test at Lee NH [NH State Papers
XXX/81].
1778 - Samuel Snell of Lee petitioned the General Court for financial
assistance for treating a soldier wounded in the battle of Saratoga. The
soldier was Edward Dearborn, brother-in-law of sd Snell, who was serving in
Capt Drew's Co of Col Hale's Reg. Dr Marshall of Lee provided treatment for
$16.00 which the Court paid [NH State Papers XII/390].
