to 3 years at Franklin La. He was described as having black hair, black eyes,
and light complexion, and 5ft 9in tall. The enlistment was sworn before Lt &
act. ... 1st NH Cav, and he was examined by Charles A Moulton, Asst Surg, 1st
NH Cavalry, examining surgeeon, and by Geo S E... 1st Reg NH Cav'y, recruiting
office. He was mustered into Co H ... Regiment of NH Vols on 29 Feb 1864 at
