  Hazel E Buswell - property on the east side of the common in Walpole was
willed to Stella E Patterson, Nelson B Ober, and Hazel E Buswell; the first two
sold their rights to Buswell in 1941 [History of Walpole NH, 1963, 2/396].

CHRONOLOGICAL ITEMS:
  1893 - Herbert Buswell came to Walpole and operated a general store on the
north side of the common for many years; in Nov of this year he leased the Drew
farm, store, and dwelling near the post office from the Bolivar Lovell estate;
the business failed the following year; in Apr 1895 he reopened the store and
continued in business, amassing considerable property; his dau Hazel remained
at home and helped with the business; he was also an auctioneer; the house
remained in the family until 1960 when it was sold to Gilbert E & Janice M Gay

  1910 - H Herbert Buswell bot land in Walpole on the west side of the common

  1922 - Carrie L Buswell bot land on Brewery Road in Walpole from Nicholas
