MISCELANEOUS ITEMS:
  Graves in a very overgrown spot about 1/4 mile above Lee Hill on the raod to
Nottingham, close to the fence on the right had side are the graves of the
early Ryans.  Michael Ryan, Irish Immigrant, Orangeman, schoolmaster.
  Michael Ryan - d 5 Mar 1827 ae 84y Rev Soldier (grave marked with flag & SAR
marker.  He m the widow of Joseph Burnham).
  Edmund Ryan - d 24 Mar 1834 ae 52y; Hannah, wife/o Edmond Ryan - d 22 JUn
1849 ae 70y; Susan, d/o Edmond & Hannah Ryan - d 20 Aug 1829 ae 8y.
  This yard was given in the cemeteries located by Mrs Mary Bennet Morse, long
ago & Michael Ryan's Rev Service was printed in the Nat Society Report
1934-1935.

  1910 Dec 28 - see deed in which James W Glover bought property of Wil-
liam P & George Glover in Lee from the heirs of Wm P Glover, stating that
George died intestate and without issue, his wife having predeceased him
[filed under Wm P Glover].
  1972 - George Glover of Nottingham NH was said to be about 63-65 years
old when he married Lucina (Shaw?) Tuttle (she later m a Flanders).  She was
said to be about 12 yrs old when she married George Glover.  According to Mrs
Buzzell "she sat on her father's knee to eat her supper and married the old
man that night!"  They had six children:

   Wilbur -
   Lewis - had a son Harold

1972] Note: the census data show the age difference was much less than Mrs
Buzzell stated; she was a granddaughter of George thru his son Butler.


Butler Norice GLOVER

FAMILY RECORD:
  Butler Norice Glover was b Nottingham NH 14 May 1856, s/o George Glover
& Lucinda Tuttle.  He died 18 May 1898 in Exeter NH ae 42-4-0 (sic?).  He
married Alice Carrie Perley who was b Topsfield MA 8 May 1859 & d 11 Feb 1939
at Haverhill MA.  They are buried in the Glover lot in the Exeter Cemetery
which has 16 graves (and where Mrs. Burnice I (Glover) Buzzell will be
buried).  Butler N Glover lived on Water Street in Exeter about two houses
from where the old Opera House once stood (Corner of Spring and Water
Streets).  Their children were:

  Ray Winfred - b 18 June 1884 Northwood NH, d Haverhill MA 1967.
  Blanche Isett - b 8 June 188? Nottingham NH, d ae 6 1/2.

  1976 - Sevices for Mrs. Burnice I. (Glover) Buzzell, 84, Dearborn Ave.,
Hampton, who died June 16 in Rockingham County Home, Brentwood, were held June
18 at Keezer-Webster Funeral Home.  Burial was in Exeter Cemetery.  Born in
Nottingham Sept 26, 1891, daughter of the late Butler and Alice (Perley)
Glover, she was formerly employed at Keezer Manufacturing Co., Plaistow.  Mrs.
Buzzell was a member of Plaistow Grange.  She leaves a son, Richard, Newington,
Conn., a brother Roswell Glover, Plaistow, four grandchildren; ten
great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews [Ex N-L 23 June 1976].
