a) Greenleaf C - b 7 Jan 1810 Nottingham; d 5 Jun 1878; bur Aspen-Grove Cem; m 16 Oct 1849 Martha H Adams (b 19 Aug 1825 d/o Dea Thomas Adams of Gilmanton NH); merchant in Lowell MA; later removed to St Louis MO; finally removed to Burlington IA where he had a nursery business. Child (adopted): 1) Frances A - m Col George H Higbee, Burlington IA.
b) Edward S J. - b 16 Dec 1811 Lee; m1 5 Jul 1836 Lucy Prince (sis/o Mrs Jonathan Cilley' she d 17 Jan 1853 Bath ME); he m2 1 Dec 1859 Sarah A Pope of Spencer MA; studied law in office of his cousin, Jonathan Cilley of Thomaston ME; US Collector of Customs at Bath ME c1878. He had six children [by which wife?], including: 1) Hon Edward B Nealley of Bangor; eldest son; US attorney for Montana; later speaker of the house in the Maine legislature; state senator c1878.
c) Frances Mary A - b 26 Feb 1814 Lee; d 9 Dec 1851 Burlington IA; m 13 Jan 1846 George Nealley of Burlington IA (b Northwood). Four children, including: 1) George T - eldest son; chief engineer of the city of Burlington c1878; 2) Mary - m Hon William B Allison, US Senator from IA.

i) Sarah E - b 31 May 1825 Lee; d 7 Jan 1864 Astoria OR; m 25 Apr 1849 Hon Cyrus Olney of Fairfield IA (he was then one of the judges of the Iowa district courts; he was b Ohio; they later moved to Oregon where he was one of the judges of the US [sic, Oregon?] supreme court). Three children, all deceased by 1878.
