WPG afterwards inheriting the interest of his brother George Glover who died
intestate and without issue, his wife also having died, together with all our
right in a claim against the Boston & Maine Railroad for damages caused by fire
to the buildings, standing timber, fences, etc., formerly on sd property which
was destroyed by a fire set by a locomotive of sd RR on 26 Apr 1910. The

1963 Oct 17 - I Melvin W Glover of Malden, Middlesex Co Mass., state
that Benjamin Mathes conveyed a tract of land in Lee NH to William P Glover
and George Glover by deed dated 1 May 1841 191/348. William P Glover and
George Glover were brothers and George died between 1848 and 1858 without
marrying and without issue, survived by William P Glover as his only heir at
law. William P Glover died about 1859, probate record #1655, leaving a widow
Mary Ann Glover and four children, i.e., Elizabeth S Glover (later Critcher-
son), James W Glover, Rhoda E Glover (later Clay), and Lorenzo S Glover also
know as Shapleigh P Glover. By quit claim deed dated 28 Dec 1910 recorded
359/429 Shapleigh P Glover, a son of William P Glover, Ada Frost, and Ralph H
Critcherson, sole surviving issue of Mary (sic?) Elizabeth Critcherson, de-
ceased daughter of William P Glover, and Jennie O Richardson, Florence A
Smith, Eva E Millard, Harry Clay, Horace Clay, and Frank Clay, being sole
surviving issue of Rhoda E Clay, deceased daughter of William P Glover, the
above grantors with James W Glover the grantee, being all the heirs of sd
William P Glover, conveyed to James W Glover the premises acquired originally
by William P Glover and George Glover from Benjamin Mathes. James W Glover by
deed dated 18 Jan 1911 recorded 359/508 quit claimed a portion of the premises
to Jennie O Richardson, Florence A Smith, Eva E Millard, Harry Clay, Horace
Clay, amd Frank Clay as tennants in common. James W Glover by deed dated 18
Jan 1911 recorded 358/510, quit claimed the remaining portion of the Mathes
tract to Shapleigh P Glover (my grandfather), and as part of the consideration
for the conveyance, Shapleigh P Glover was to keep in repair the family burial
ground on the premises. Shapleigh P Glover died 15 Nov 1929 in Malden Mass,
survived by his widow Eldora Glover and his son Guy M Glover (my father).
Shapleigh P Glover also had had a daughter who predeceased him and left no
issue. Guy M Glover died in Malden Mass on 26 Nov 1952 at the time of his
death being a widower and leaving myself, Melvin W Glover as his only issue
