--------------------
George B Wiggin was in the Piscassic section of Newfields at Littlefield
Crossing before Joseph F Wiggin came to Newmarket.  He was instrumental in
getting JFW to come to Newmarket.  He found the farm and urged JFW to buy it.
GBW was a blacksmith, mechanic, and inventor.  He invented or improved a number
of farm machines, and made himself a good bit of money.  Littlefield Crossing
is where the Concord-Portsmouth RR crossed the Epping to Newfields highway.  It
was a flagstop on the RR [family lore, prob from Charles Lester Buzzell, ggs/o
JFW].
