married  George Gray (b 1740) of Barrington.  He died in Barrington 1828-30.

  1729 Dec 10 - James Busell signed a petition as a resident of Oyster River
protesting a grievance regarding the parish boundary and the minister's rate
[NH State Papers 9/237].
  1733 - James Buzzell taxed in Dover [Hist Rockingham & Strafford Cos p798].
  1733 - the town of Dover distributed among its inhabitants most of the
remaining public lands.  John Buzzell received a full share in this
distribution, and his sons, John Jr (2/3rds), Henry (1/3rd), James (1/3rd), and
William (1/3rd) received partial shares [Hurd, Hist. of Rockingham & Strafford
Cos, p797ff].
  1733 Jun 16 - James Busey of Dover & Rachell Credefor of Wells filed marr
intentions [Wells, Maine, mss Vital Records 1695-1826, p24].
  1733 Oct 24 - from James Bussell of Dover, laborer, to Lemuel Chesley of
Durham, yeoman, for 10#, 1/3rd part of a whole share in the common land now
about to be divided, namely 1/3rd of a right which falls to me as a proprietor

Dover, land in Rochester [NH Prov Deeds 29/368].
  1737/8 - received 1/2 a 60a lot in 1st div of Rochester and 1/2 a 140a lot
in 2nd div in Rochester per his father's will [NH State Papers 32/670].
  1739 Feb 6 - from James Bussell of Rochester, husbandman, to Edmund Layn of
Dover, taylor, land in Rochester near the meeting house, on S side of the main
rd thru Rochester, 80ftx60ft, being part of the land on which my dwelling house
stands; begin NE corner of 7th 1st div lot in Rochester by said rd, then SE

of Dover, husbandman, for 70#, 70a in Rochester, part of a lot orig granted to
Jn'o Bussel Sr of Dover, deceased, in 2nd div, "where I do now dwell" and is
part of the same lot or share in sd Rochester which ye sd Jno Bussel gave to

  1747 Apr - James Bussell and many others are said to have taken government
stores of Maj Thomas Davis at Winnipesaukee Lake [NH State Papers 18/304].
  1749 Jun 13 - from James Bussell of Rochester, husbandman, to Amos Main of
same, for 283#, 10a in Rochester, part of the 7th 1st div lot, is one third
part of the 1st div land which my hon'd father, John Bussel deceased, gave me
in Rochester by deed of gift; bounds on land I sold to Mr John Wood of Dover;
